    Hi there,

    please be sure that the Xbox One controller that you got, does support bluetooth, since only the latest model (Xbox One S) does support bluetooth as far as I know.

    xbox one controller for pc, adapter or bluetooth?

    Hey GiddyCosine4817!

    As Geth mentioned, Bluetooth connection to a Windows 10 device will work just fine for Xbox One controllers, depending on the model of the controller. Certain older Xbox One controllers do not support Bluetooth connections.

    Ok so the Xbox one controller is fully updated and Bluetooth works for a bit but then disconnects. It would seem that some other program might be trying to take over the Xbox controller from the windows Bluetooth program. Any ideas what this program could

    are you sure its not your bluetooth receiver that is causing the issue? is it an in built one or a usb bluetooth adapter? if its a usb one are you able to get hold of another to try that and see if that thats causing the issue?

    do you have any other devices connected via bluetooth at the same time as the controller and if so do they disconnect at the same time?
