    How do I disable wireless on XBOX 360


    it looks like I have a XBOX 360 S. I just need to turn off the wireless so that it stops looking for a network to connect to. I am connected vie Ethernet cable via a switch to XBOX Live.

    My daughter has electromagnetic hypersensitivity so no wireless allowed ever!

    Connecting to 5 ghz band?

    I would recommend the external Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter (black).

    Using this adapter will disable the internal wireless of your Xbox 360 S.

    Help! Connection issue when playing with friends only.

    One option online seems to be to disable the uPnP option on my router. I'm not exactly in the know with these things although I do know how to disable it but what effects would it have on my wireless connection, the PC and Xbox connecting as well as Wifi?

    How do I disable wireless on XBOX 360

    I think it's under "system",then "settings" then "network".

    I could be wrong as it's a while since I've needed to go to the network settings on my 360 but have a look there.
