How do I disable the family sharing?

It looks like this issue is still not resolved.
Can you please share more information on what you have tried so far so we can continue to try and resolve this issue for you

I had the same problem,it says i can t play java beacuse i play minecraft windows edition through family sharing,but like 4 months ago it works,i had java and windows edition(i bought Win edition from 2019),and now i don t get what the problem is

If both of you are childs and have a child account in the family group:

Is not possible to leave the family group

Also notice that you need to sign in with the account that owns the game.
Both of you have the purchase in the respective accounts?

Hello i have the same problem it says i need to pay for mc java cause i am playing bedrock through family sharing but ive got the xbox gamepass ultimate and i wont be able to access java until i buy it on the acc but ive had java before if theres more info u need just ask me(also yes i left my family sharing)

Sorry but I'm trying to access this through the launcher. Can you please inform me on how to disable the family settings first due to the family sharing disabling me from accessing java.
