How do I delete my account from xbox app and microsoft store of my friend's computer

You can sign out your Microsoft account from everywhere, just follow the steps provided in here. https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/h...

The process can take up to 24 hours, you will be signed out of browsers, apps and anywhere else your account is used to sign in, except an Xbox console. Try to change your password too. Please remember not to give out account information.

I don't have the link by hand atm (I hope somebody else could share it) where you can delete your account from other devices.

But first of all you should change your password ! Even if you have auto log-in on his devices your friend will be asked for the password then.

I also can't log in on the microsoft store. I created a different account on my computer with admin privleges and a local login. It was able to log in on both the xbox app and the microsoft store. So how do I fix my main account to allow me to log in on
that?

Thank you for the link; I appreciate that they've defined the words since it can be confusing. I assume since that's an official Microsoft page that the official Microsoft stance is "you are limited to one Microsoft account per computer user account"? It's confusing how this works for computer user accounts that are local, and thus not explicitly tied to a Microsoft account - except via the Microsoft Store and Xbox app.

(Also, brief rant: This is a ludicrous policy in my opinion. I should be able to make as many local computer user accounts as I want, all able to login to my one online Microsoft account. Every other service like Steam or Google works like this.)

But given that, if I can remove or disconnect my Microsoft account from my admin computer user account, can I then use it on my non-admin computer user account? If so, how can I make sure my Microsoft account is purged from my admin local user account?

I'm going to be very wary of buying games from the Microsoft Store ever again.

I input the command as instructed and did receive errors as warned. I further followed your instructions by restarting my computer, repairing and reset all three apps. Deleted all TEMP files that I could (some gave an error regarding Microsoft Office click-to-run), Removed all XBL and XBLGrts credentials, Deleted the Accounts and Cache folders, and Restarted my computer.

upon the second and final restart, when opening the Microsoft store I was not prompted to log in as I was already signed in. I was prompted to sign in when launching the Xbox app which I did. Unfortunately there has been no progress as when launching a Game from the Xbox App I am still directed to Gaming Services page in the Microsoft store.
