How do I delete games that remain under Owned Games despite uninstalling them?

Thanks for your reply. I’ve hidden the games accordingly.

My main concern is the fact that I never downloaded these games to begin with (in other words, they were shown as owned prior to me downloading them to try and delete them). Furthermore, why are they still shown while other games I’ve uninstalled (for testing purposes) are no longer listed?

Was my account was hacked while I was off of it for a few years? Did I get a Series X with a refurbished hard drive? Any further input would be appreciated. Thank you!

You cannot remove your owned games; they are permanently linked in your account. Once linked they are always there. The alternative way you can do is to hide it: Hiding games with no achievements on Xbox | Xbox Support

@Misses Quinzel - I reinstalled Thief, then did manage game. I deleted all saves and then uninstalled it. I then played a number of other games.

Thief remains the main tile.

My profile is damaged. I need someone at MS to fix this. How do I reach them ?

The problem isn‘t simply solved by restarting the console. I did in fact a reset, but all problems remain. Of course, now all screenshots and videos are gone though the reset option says it would not erase the games, but clips/screenshots belong to the game and they are in fact deleted. Nice job, Microsoft!

The bug that remains: when uninstalling a disc based game while the disc is in the drive doesn‘t make the disc icon appear.

Another basic problem: other than in Windows, you cannot uninstall game updates

The concept problem that remains: screenshots/clips are not stored where the games is installed which would a) not preserve them from being deleted by reset and b) wouldn‘t move them along with the game when moving it to an external drive.
