How do I delete an old xbox live profile from my account

I'm looking to delete an old xbox live profile from my account so I can use the same email address for another profile.

I have deleted from the console but is still live on the MS account page.

Hi There,

I don't think its possible to do this because each gamertag is attached to a unique ID which is your email. Therefore, you would have to either continue using the old account if you would like to keep your email or start a brand new Xbox Live account with
a new email.

You can check this link on how to change an email that's associated with your account, but

Email addresses and phone numbers that are already an alias on another account can’t be used.

Hi, if you delete and download your profile again the passcode will be gone. Be sure to delete profile only when you do this please.

Try to delete your profile from your console ( delete profile only) and then do an account recovery and see if that resolves your issue. See the article below for steps on how to recover your account.
