    How do I delete all my messages on Xbox one???


    so I've neglected a lot of messages on Xbox mostly because the from little turds who like to spam message and troll and I have about 96 unread messages, I don't want to one by one click through them because that forces me to see the filth and garbage toxicity
    these kids like to spread. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to just mass delete all of my messages please???

    Xbox app and xbox.com messages won't load

    My Xbox.com messages won't load, and my XBox app won't open at all, however smartglass works. I don't have this issue when using a different account. Could it be to do with the number of messages I have? I have a lot from last year, so should I delete them
    all?

    Also, how long do messages stay before expiring now?

    I'm afraid there isn't an option to mass delete messages. Generally if they've been sitting there for more than 30 days they'll automatically be deleted, but if you want to remove them you'll need to go through and manually delete each one.

    Confirmed to work for me at least. I deleted all my messages. however, I am in the preview program and I had one message from Xbox live. Not sure if that one was causing problems, but it works now. Try deleting all messages from the Xbox one Messages app.
    then try again.

    I did as Zepp XO. And YES!!!! It is working again!

    I had the same problem with Win10 Xbox app crashing when accessing messages. Also Xbox.com error message when trying to access messages. I searched and found that it was a message from XBox in my message box on my Xbox One causing the problem. I was able
    to delete it by going to XBox SmartGlass on my phone and pressing/holding the green Xbox message until the delete option popped up then deleted it. Problem solved!!! Why did XBox send the message and why was it causing the problem. Took my over 1/2 hr of ***
    around to figure out the problem and then figure out how to delete it. What a waste of time!!! If you have an Xbox One look all the way at the bottom of the message list for the green colored message from Xbox causing the glitch.
