How do I create a Microsoft Account with an Already used Xbox Login

all xbox accounts are tied to a microsoft account from when they are first created, are you sure when it was created it didnt link to your email.

Windows 10 uses the Microsoft Account you used to create the profile to login with Windows. You can add a different Microsoft Account to your already created profile on Windows 10 by going to Settings>Accounts>Email and App accounts>Add a Microsoft Account.

This will allow you to have the ability to select the Microsoft Account you want to use when using apps such as the Xbox app to chose the Microsoft Account. For Microsoft Edge, if you go to Settings>Account and it should bring a list of accounts you can
use. If that still does not work, try going in-private to see if it allows you to login with the different account. If you remove the old Microsoft Account and link your login for your PC with the new one you add, it should automatically do it. You may have
to login once on Edge once after.

How do I create a new Microsoft account with the same email address as the Microsoft account I am using right now, when I go to create a new account it says I can't use the email because it's already used for this account?

I have found a fix for this for my 2 kids switches. Apparently when you create an account with microsoft and use it to log into minecraft it creates an xbox account for you and assigns a auto generated username. All i had to do wasgo to xbox website on
my comp and login using the microsoft login info. Once it logged into the account i went under settings and changed the gamer tag.

Okay so google didn’t work but chrome did. It let me continue with xbox/microsoft login but then it directs me to creating a new epic account. I already have an epic account with my email so i’m not sure how i’m supposed to make a new one.
