Please make sure that your game is up-to-date and your Windows OS.

Try to sign out from your game and sign in again. You may also repair and reset it if possible via PC Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Here’s what to do:

Make sure you redeemed your promo code at https://www.minecraft.net/redeem using the Microsoft account linked to your Minecraft.

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for the cape to appear in the game.

Restart Minecraft after redeeming the code.

Make sure you’re playing the Bedrock Edition, since the cape usually works there.
