how do I connect to the wifi?

the wifi that i need to connect to is a hidden network. when I add the network it does not offer the chance to enter a wifi password. I have restarted my console, unplugged the router and checked to see if the router filters out my MAC address

Many users had been able to resolve this issue by doing this:

Enter your hidden SSID, wait a few seconds, press Xbox/guide button, return to Network Settings and the network name should be visible on the list so you can choose it and enter the password

Do you get a specific error message? Does your WiFi SSID (network name) not show up?

Is the Xbox One connected to the WiFi but does not connect to the Internet?
