    how do i connect to my xbox remotely


    i am new to the whole Xbox system. first time owner. therefore i do not know how to use the operating system in general. i have been seeing articles all over the web and on this site that say connect to your Xbox remotely and play the games anywhere. when i first read that my attention and curiosity hit 100 instantly. please guide me through the procedure

    Yes, this is possible. We will follow the steps on this link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...

    You need to enable the sleep mode first and then the remote features. Follow the steps below:

    Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features > Select the Enable remote features checkbox > Under Power options, select Sleep.

    After that, you can use the Xbox App on your mobile device or PC to remote play.

    I tried searching this up and could not find anything, I don't believe this is a possible method. I own a Roku Smart TV and can't think of how this could be done.

    If anyone else has any ideas feel free to correct me, I would be genuinely interested!
    I went to the TCL website and under codes for remotes there is one listed for xbox one ... im confused

    Do you have Kinect? From what I've been reading online the Media Remote only controls your TV if you have Kinect, as it uses that device to send the signals to your TV.
