How do I connect my Xfinity account to Xbox?

Make sure that your account of xfinity is not blocking the xbox from allowing it to connect because i had mine so that xbox wouldnt connect since my brother played all day and blocked it by accident. Just login to your xfi account and check or look for
tips on the account of xfinity.

It is a wired connection. Its Comcast hardware, I don't see a model # on it. I know it's not the newer Xfinity modem/routers it's the previous model.

I've gotten no troubleshooting other than to do a hard reset. I've checked with other people in my house, no one else is having this issue.

Are there more than one Xbox console connected to your Xfinity modem/router?

Do you have the option to try connect your console with a different network cable. You may also try terminate your console to a different LAN port on your Xfinity device.

If you haven't already, could you try remove, and add your Microsoft account back on your console. Here's how:

Hi Dericka, thank you for the help. I tried resetting my Xfinity router and get the same black screen with sounds from the XBox. I do have Xfinity WiFi router with an Xfinity pod to extend coverage and the laptop connects to the pod when I'm upstairs in our bedroom. I suspect it isn't working because it's connected to the pod, but there is no way to control if it connects to the pod or main gateway unless I unplug the pod and that creates other problems for things connected to WiFi. Any other ideas?

Its looking like its a xfinity/comcast thing. same exact issue as you soul hero and i have xfinity. Also when testing connection my xbox connects to network but not internet.

I havent payed it in a while and i still was able to use it on my game and my phone is definitley connected to the xfinity.. i had my aunt account signed in on my xbox for the wifi and it doesnt work anymore. It usually took me a couple tries to get it
to connect but now it doesnt want to connect at all
