How do I connect my turtle beach PX5 to my TV to get audio into the headphones?

I have all the cables connected, but I only got one audio optical cable to connect my PX5 receiver to my XBOX 360. I can hear chat through my headphones but not gameplay. Don't I need a 2nd audio optical cable to connect the receiver to my TV to hear gameplay
in the headphones too? If so, is the PX5 supposed to come with 2 optical cables?

I got a refurbished unit that did not come with instructions.

Turtle Beach Audio output

I have got the turtle beach wireless headphones. I connect my xbox 360 to my tv by hdmi. I use the dongle so i can use my headphone and the hdmi, ut when i use my tv audio i have to disconnect the dongle. This get annoying because i constantly use both.
Is there anyway to get audio to come out my turtle beach and my tv at the same time while still using hdmi.

(My tv does not have audio output)

Low Volume output on XBOX 360 (both old and brand new Slim)

For what it's worth, I had a similar problem and I figured out that the problem was being caused by my Turtle Beach headphones that were plugged in to the audio inputs ahead of the Xbox outputs. Once I removed the Turtle Beach audio plugs and just plugged
the Xbox audio out directly into my TV the volume was fine.

Optical cable from reciever to xbox.

Or if possible optical from TV to Reciever if this isnt possible i think the px5s have analouge inputs, Try that straight into your tv, (rca cable)

The second optical port on the reciever is a pass through input. (like the hdmi in and out on a xbox one)

Not headphones, the controller plug is smaller and used for chat, headphones won't fit. My 360 Turtle beach headset gets its game audio from the TV too.

I'm on turtle beach PX5's. Mainly so I can use my phone on the headset at the same time.

My X41's are now used as PC headphones.

I can only give you my opinion on what we've reviewed and used. In my opinion, currently the best gaming headphones on the market are the

Astro A40's with the wireless MixAmp 5.8.

We have the Turtle Beach PX5's coming next week and the upcoming Turtle Beach XP500 is also due.
