How do I connect an already set up console to the xbox app?

Link Account Using the Xbox App

1. Press the Start button and then choose Xbox from the list.
   
2. Select Profile & settings in the upper-right corner (it’s your gamerpic if you’re already signed in), and then choose Settings > Account.
   
3. Sign in to the Xbox network, choose a social network from the list, press Link, and then follow the prompts.
   

Select the Show icon on my profile check box for each account to let gamers know which social networks you’re on.

Link Account Using the Xbox Mobile App

1. Launch the Xbox mobile app on your device and tap on the account gamerpic to show your profile.
   
2. Tap Link social accounts.
   
3. From here, clicking each option will launch your default browser to the service login page for each link you wish to add.
   

You can choose to link your Discord, Facebook, Reddit, Steam, Twitch, Twitter, or other social media account.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app already? Is your console set up to allow smartglass connections? Settings > Preferences > Smartglass connections.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Make sure that you have an Xbox App and both are connected on the same network then follow the steps below:

Open the app. If you’re a new app user, select Set up a console. If you’ve already signed in to the app, select the Console icon in the upper right corner of the home screen, and select Set up a console.

•If you can’t connect to your Xbox 360 console using SmartGlass, first make sure Xbox SmartGlass apps is On in your console settings. Here’s how: 1.From Xbox Home, go to Settings.

2.Select System and then Console Settings.

3.Select Connected Devices.

4.Verify that Xbox SmartGlass is On.

•Make sure that the same profile you’re using on your device is already signed in to the console.
