How do I completely shutdown Xbox series s?

Hii,

I have activated dev mode in Xbox series s and have energy saving mode enabled.

When I use shutdown option from Power settings, which I think completely shuts down the console, I still get a notification saying the console was shutdown due to an unexpected powerloss when I start it again after removing power.

I have unchecked keep my console upto date and games/apps upto date options and also have tried shutting down from device portal but facing the same issue.

Is there any other way to shutdown the console completely without having it running in background?

Hello Ravi, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your console.

If you would like to have the console fully shut down when you're no longer using it then the best way to do so would be to hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down. This constitutes a full shut down and will require a full restart when you next turn it on.

That's what I am done,put my series s on energy saving and then select full shutdown after that I hear noises on the left side of series s and it won't stop noising unless I unplug it

How do you erase cache? Do you mean have I completely shutdown and restarted, then yes.

I have had this problem a few times but normally, it fixes itself after I do a complete shutdown of the Xbox One S (don't have the Xbox One X) and it connects normally. Personally haven't heard people having this problem (haven't researched this like you
have of course), but will say that when it DOES happen, I'm simply doing a full shutdown, and turning it back on and going back into the game and it works fine.
