How do I change users since the 8.1 update on PC/Laptop?

I'm new to using TapTiles as I upgraded my laptop recently, upgraded to Windows 8.1 and signed into my daughters XBox live account by accident (stupid and tired mummy move there).

I have done everything in my power (and internet recommendations) to either sign out of hers and into mine or switch users.

Short of having to re-install the whole laptop (coming quite close to it due to frustration), What are the NEW steps in order for me to sign into my own xbox live account.

I have read other forum questions AND tried to follow what it said on the XBox website but it seems as if those particular steps have disappeared and are no longer available, please help me before I rip all of my hair out.

And to quote IT Crowd "Have you tried turning it off and on again?", lets put it this way, I've un installed the apps so many times I'm at a loss....

Live tile update

I have AlphaJax on both PC Windows 8.1 Update 1 and Windows Phone 8.1.

I do get the played count update on both. If I make the play on the PC, the live tile on the phone isn't update and vice versa.

Is a fix on the works?

Microsoft Jigsaw version 1.6

I run Microsoft Jigsaw on a Windows 8.1 PC. How do I get version 1.6? It doesn't seem to have updated automatically but I can't see any way of applying the update manually.

This is actually a really frustrating problem. I'm also a mom so I can definitely empathize with logging in accidentally on your child's account!

The only way I was able to do it was to do the following:

1. Go to the Start Screen

2. Pull up the charm bar on the right and choose Settings

3. At the bottom of the Settings menu, choose Change PC Settings

4. Go to Account Information

5. You will see your name and then your Microsoft account beneath it. Choose disconnect. It will then prompt you to set up a local account. Make up a username and password you'll remember but that is different from your Microsoft account

6. It will prompt you to sign out.

7. Sign back in to your now-local account with the password you just made up.

8. Open Taptiles. It MAY crash when you first open it, just try it again.

9. You'll see a prompt asking you to switch to a Microsoft account on this PC. Above the Next button you'll see "Sign into each app separately instead (not recommended" Choose this.

10. Enter your Microsoft account/Xbox account credentials

After you complete this, you can then reconnect your Microsoft account again through PC settings. Let me know if you need any further help.

Hi if you want add others account go in Settings > Accounts > Family and others Users

1) Type in "settings" in the search box on the Task Bar.

2) Click on the "settings" App that shows in the results. (should be the first one listed)

3) Click on "Accounts"

4) Click on "Family & Other Users"

5) Click the "+" next to Add someone else to this PC and follow the prompts.

Click Start and then click the arrow on the side of the Shutdown button. You see several menu commands.

Choose Switch User. A dialog box appears.

Click the user you want to log in as. ...

Type the password and then click the arrow button to log in.

Click on the start menu in the lower left (or press the Windows Key on your Keyboard).

Then click on the cogwheel/gear icon on the left side of the start menu. Or type "Settings" in the search field and click the settings app.

In the settings, click on the Account settings. Under E-Mails and Accounts, you can then add the account of the other person.

To allow them to sign in on your PC, you can now sign out yourself or switch to the other user.
