    How do I change the payment region for xbox gamertag change?


    I'm trying to change my gamertag on xbox because it defaults to the US and it's greyed out and unchangeable.
    Payment declines due to region difference between my card and the store region.
    I've used and paid for other Microsoft services like office 365 and didn't encounter this issue.

    Also how am I supposed to xbox support!!!! the virtual agent is not very helpful.

    Well first what region are you in

    If you don't live in an Xbox live region it won't work regardless as you need to live in an Xbox live region

    Windows /,office regions are different then xbox

    And if you set your account to a non Xbox region and create an Xbox account you have to select an Xbox live region and you have to have an valid payment option from an Xbox live region

    Can't get Xbox Live Gold 360 games

    I have moved recently and changed my region accordingly in my Xbox One. I also added a new payment from the new region I'm in.

    But on the Xbox and on the website (marketplace.xbox.com) the only payment method I can choose is the old one when trying to get a Xbox 360 gold game.

    I have to say that the problem is only with 360 games. With One games the payment method is correctly selected for the new region.

    Is there a place in the microsoft account to change the 360 region? Or do I seriously need a 360 console to do this change?
