How do I change the default storage for installation to be automatically be there?

Changing the default install location of these apps could solve the issue

Click on the search bar and type in “Settings.”

From the search results, select the Settings

Select System from the menu.

In the menu on the left, select Storage.

Now, under More storage settings, click Change where new content is saved.

Select your new default location.

Every app you download from the Windows Store will now automatically install in your new default location

go to settings and change storage location back to c:, then install the gaming services update, then change storage location back to wherever you had it.

the gaming services thing has to be installed on c:, if you have your default storage on another drive it errors, this gaming services app is that an app so will try to install to wherever the default storage is but it can only be installed on the system

Have you checked how much storage space you have on the default install location. I mention default install location as many people have an external drive for more storage space but it really comes down to the default install location has to have enough
by itself.

How can I change my default storage? If it's by going into storage settings and setting the default location where new apps go I've already done it and it does not work
