    How do I change the country registered on my families xbox 360?


    I've tried updating the billing info, but it will only registered USA states. So that kind of told me its not linked up properly in NZ, is that right?

    Also when checking my microsoft account, no problems all the correct billing information is there, but it is not linking up with the xbox 360.

    Ive purchased a couple movies using the microsoft account, but they are not showing up on the xbox, only confirming that I have purchased them, but can't download them?

    I also tried to load money on the xbox 360 using a xbox gift card, but the error code 80122734 came up, advising can't use the money on this xbox as its not the same currency? huh..

    how do I fix all of the above please.

    once set a region of an account cannot be changed you will have to create a new account

    Hello,

    Changing the language and locale on the console itself will only effect offline language. When you connect to Xbox LIVE it uses the countries language on the account. If your account is registered in Mexico, then you will see the dashboard in Spanish.

    If it's possible to change, the country you have selected would need to have multiple language options. You can learn how to change this setting (if available for your country) by going
    here and looking under "Change your Xbox LIVE account language".

    I'm from Brazil, and my account was set to USA, because there was no live here.

    But then, the live became available to Brazil and I didn't change the region

    Now that I want to change, I can't.

    So, I stop playing for a couple years, and now I can't change the region?

    I prefer stop playing and never get a gold account again then creating a new one.
