How do I change regions?

It seems bugged and it wont let me change my region to US. I can't pay for anything because my country is locked into India and I clearly don't own any credit/debit cards from there.

You can't. Codes from gifted games are region locked. So any codes you gift through Xbox would only be usable in the UK. You can try contacting support for a refund

You'll have to contact support so they can do it for you. It can take 6 weeks to process and you will lose access to any content you may have downloaded that has region restrictions.
