how do i change -personalize the background theme on a 360 console

Discus and support how do i change -personalize the background theme on a 360 console in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; i have an original 360 elite console from about 2012 maybe , googled how to do it but every anser it says to do the menues arent listed on my console.... i have an original 360 elite console from about 2012 maybe , googled how to do it but every anser it says to do the menues arent listed on my console. Like - Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization > My background , my system and profile settings are seperate and no general tab or the others mentioned. Another googled sugestion- Go to the social blade, click on your avatar - but the controller wont let me do any such thing,
