I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox.

Unfortunately it is not possible in any way to transfer your Xbox account to a different Microsoft account, which is what you really want to do since changing the email address is just that but it would still be the same Microsoft account with the same Xbox account.

It is important that you always preferably have your own account with your own email from the beginning to avoid this type of inconvenience in the future.

Just a friendly reminder to add first an email and set it as primary alias before making any changes because removing a primary alias may result for deletion of Microsoft account along with Xbox profile. Here you go:

Also, a reminder from Xbox Support in removing an alias: “ When removing an email alias that’s connected to a Microsoft domain (such as @Outlook.com, @Live.com, or @Hotmail.com), that email is completely deleted from our systems and can’t be used to send or receive emails. It won’t be available for use again as an alias on another account. Microsoft doesn’t recycle email addresses, so it can’t be reclaimed at a future time.”
