    How do I change my Xbox account's age?


    Recently I have tried to use the Xbox Insidr Hub to use certain apps such as the Xbox preview program or the Sea of Thieves Technical Alpha, but when I try to open it on my main account I am told that the age is below 18. As creating a new account is no
    longer a viable option because of all the time I have put into my main, I was wondering if there were any way I could change this without having to use a different account.

    Can't make this my home xbox

    I have already reported to Xbox that someone else has access to my account and changed my account's home xbox to his xbox. However,I can't change it back so that my xbox is the home xbox. It just says 'can't change this to home xbox'. How do I fix this???

    How do I change my Xbox account's age?

    Thanks for posting! Once a date of birth has been set on an Xbox Live account, it cannot be changed. You can update your date of birth on your Microsoft Account, however Xbox Live will still look at the original birthdate set.

    Hope this helps clear up the issue.

    You can change the age of your Microsoft account at http://account.live.com but keep in mind that will only change the age of your Microsoft account and not your Xbox account.
