How do I change my Microsoft account ownership of my Xbox profile?

If it is a Microsoft email address (live, hotmail, outlook) then it will fully close that email account down too.

if you go to your microsoft account and go to the settings, you should be able to change the name email address and personal address

When i came across this issues i had to remove one account then log onto the website and manually register ownership.

You can't merge or share information, saves, money or something else between different account. That's why i've created different profiles linked to different email adress for all my family since the first day. It's easy, fast and secure for all. Now all
my family member have is own historical games, saves.....

In your case, follow the link gave by the others ambassadors allow you to change the email of the account, but, again, keep in mind it will be deleted !
