How do I change my avatar on this game?

Similar to this issue, when I signed up for the gold subscription xbox was logged into my daughter's avatar. How do I change the avatar associated with my xbox gold account. Right now when I log in, it shows that I am my daughter, how do I change it so
it shows as me? I don't want sign in as my daughter all the time and I don't want to take over her avatar since she has history saved under her avatar.

okay, sorry, I don't know where to go to post a question, but i've been having trouble trying to figure out how to change my avatar. I'm using a laptop with windows 8. I followed a link posted above that's supposed to show how to do it, but it only said
to go onto the xbox games app. I was already there and couldn't find anything for changing your avatar... Anyone how I can change it, or if it's even possible for me to do?

I agree with my bf. It's pretty obscured compared with how they do it on Xbox 360. They need to show more of our avatar on the dash, like they do on Xbox 360. But this idea of revamped avatars is cool. I remember this Australian kid who I defriended who
was obsessed with avatars. He lol like changed his avatar appearance everyday, and sometimes changed his gamer picture to go with it.

how do I change my avatar on windows? because all my friends have a avatar.but my is grey all grey.so I go on avatar store tried to buy a costume but it did not work.i did not have a avatar.so it told be to get a avatar at the games app so I preesed it but
it just showed the games app.So I tried to find something with avatar editor option.but it was not there.plz help am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?plz read this and thanks for your help.
