Discus and support How do I change game region in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have paid for a game add on and gifted to a friend but is the wrong region as he is in USA I am UK how can a change this so he can play it...     I have paid for a game add on and gifted to a friend but is the wrong region as he is in USA I am UK how can a change this so he can play it

    How do i change my region?

    You would have to call support and they can migrate your account. However, it is a 6 week process and you can't access your account during that time. You will also lose access to any content you previously downloaded that has region restrictions.

    You can't. Codes from gifted games are region locked. So any codes you gift through Xbox would only be usable in the UK. You can try contacting support for a refund
    Contact Us | Xbox Support and then purchase a US code for him from a different retailer.
