How do I change back to my original gamertag in my xbox account profile????

My primary gamertag account is sooperdaddio (xbox one) - gold member status for 7 years - played frequently.

My secondary account is (xbox 360) - seldom used but gold paid member every year (for a couple of years now.)

Unfortunately was the latest gamertag to be associated with my main email address
which is

associated with my xbox profile.

I'm missing out on rewards play accumulation points because the secondary account is seldom used, but I'm constantly being notified of the rewards program to my email address of all the points
"I'm not receiving" because its never used.

I want my original gamertag - sooperdaddio -assigned to my xbox profile but cannot figure out how to do that.

Note; same email is attached to both profiles.

I am trying to sign into my Xbox live account using my original gamertag but I no longer have the original email account associated with my Xbox live account. How do I recover my live account and gamertag?

Yes, changing the gamertag again should be possible, als changing back to your previous Gamertag is possible, as long as your original Gamertag isn't already taken by somebody else.

Keep in mind each change will require a payment.

Hey! Sorry about your account issues!

First off, are you certain they're attached to the same email? You shouldn't be able to have more than one profile assigned to an email. Try accessing both accounts on your consoles and checking to see if the emails do in fact match.

(You can find instructions on where to find the emails for each console here). If, in fact, both profiles share the same email address, you'll need to contact Xbox Support through the
Contact Us page, since that would be an error. They should also be able to help walk you through the process for changing the emails associated with each profile as well.

Should it turn out that they are actually associated with different emails, you should be able to switch the emails around using aliases by temporarily associating the secondary account with a new or existing third email (to free up the primary email), and
then attaching the primary email as an alias to the primary profile. You can then choose to use the same process to associate the secondary email with the secondary account, or leave the third one attached, whatever you choose.

There's
a very helpful article on this in the support section that I'm sure will do a much better job explaining this process than I have.

The process can get a bit confusing sometimes with so many changes involved, so you can always

chat with an Ambassador if you'd like to have someone help walk you through it!
