how do I by pass trial mode for Destiny Trail Mode and play the expansion pack ? Do I need a code for the expansion dlc pack. I keep getting a message "requirement not met" and it shows that it is installed. What's next?

Destiny reverts back to trial mode

Destiny the taken King legendary edition reverted to trail mode even though I never played the trial. I hadn't played in a few months and I came back to it last night and it wasn't in trial mode then I woke up this morning and it was in trail mode. I have
uninstalled it and re it it also says I have all the DLCs installed.

a while ago I bought the iron wolf dlc without having the game, then I got the free trial, when I launch destiny I’m in free trial mode with the iron wolf extension, but I bought the collection pack which includes the base game, I uninstalled destiny and
reinstalled it, but I’m still in free trial mode. Idk what to do.

From what it sounds, it seems that you bought "$20 add-on" alone and you didn't purchase the base game.

If that is the case, your installation of Destiny is still in "trial mode" because it is still lacking the license to the base game. The add-on you paid for and downloaded likely only included the expansion packs and the level upgrade token.

Sometimes the game might show as Trial in the Store because you got the trial from the store but then bought the disc. Is your son able to pass level 7 in Destiny? If yes, then the game is not in trial mode anymore.
