    How do i buy a free game (with gold) with xbox.com ?


    so I have gold,and theres this game Gears of war 3,i really want to buy it,but it gives me the error 80150017 wich is something region locked thing..pretty stupid,anyway,I saw some sugestions from the forums and they said to try to download it from xbox.com
    so I tried it,but I cant see the button,i cant find it...I am log in my account,I have 3M gold,and all I see is the credit option thingy...where do I click to download it for free ?! I don't understand anything .-. help ?

    I buy Xbox one 3 month ago & put my son email and he log in and put me as a one friend & share with me all games after 2 weeks my son left the x1 when his member ship with gold finish and use his x360

    I remove my son account from x1 and put my account and use the console the problem with me I'm member ship with gold all games I buy it ( special free with gold ) appear to me on xbox.com Already purchased with the store of console ( play or install
    ) & Buy a copy

    I check with https://account.microsoft.com/?lang=en-us under section
    Recent orders ( See all ) I found all my digital games I buy it with the gold benfit discount; except that is I buy it free with gold.

    for the free game with gold I buy it on xbox.com see Aleady purchased; but on x1 store see play ( or install when i remov my ext HDD ) > Buy a copy !

    Also I redeem code for one game already on console; I redeem it through xbox.com; check after on xbox.com appear Already purchased; but with the store of console x1 appear play > Buy a copy !

    Any suggestion to do thanks

    yes I have tried buying Dirt Showdown through xbox.com and I received the same message, but now I can't buy Dirt Showdown for free with games with gold.

    Sorry to hear that you cannot purchase the free game with gold. Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for?

    A region error means that the item itself cannot be downloaded to where you live due to restrictions imposed by that regions local government. There is no workaround for this.

    Yep what onyx said thenonly way to download region locked content is to match your account region with your actual region unless you dont live in an actual xbox live region

    Hi,

    Gold X360 backward compatible games will always show you a Buy This Game.

    But, that's no problem, click on Buy This Game and you will see Free if your Gold Subscription is valid. You will also need a valid payment associated to your account.

    Excerpt from the FAQ

    "When I try to download a game from Xbox.com I get a message that says "You have no valid payment options on file." Will I be charged for the free Games with Gold?

    You won’t be charged for the Games with Gold download. The Xbox.com Store requires a valid payment option to download Xbox 360 games. However, no charges will be made since Games with Gold is free to Xbox Live Gold members."

    Games with Gold and EA Access

    The 3 dots button only gives the option to Redeem a Code on both the Xbox and Xbox.com. The main option says Buy as Gift, not Buy to own as claimed Games with Gold games usually show. The price is shown as Free (with the normal price crossed out) in contrast
    to Adventure Time, which I have successfully claimed, shows the full price without saying Free.

    Even more confusingly, if I scroll down on the Xbox store, a prompt appears at the top of the screen saying Press X to "Get", yet no matter how many times I do this it will still show the prompt and list the game as Free.

    The game may very well be claimed but the store just doesn't know how to show it, or the Games with Gold system doesn't know how to handle this situation and won't allow me to claim the game. I believe this is the first time an EA Access game has been offered
    through Games with Gold so it may be an unforeseen issue.
