    How do I boost my download speed?


    So I just recently got a new router and my download speed still just isn’t as fast as it SHOULD be for my Xbox, and I’ve only had trouble with it on my series X. my download speed fluctuates a lot, the speeds I should be getting according to my Xbox whenever I do a test, is upwards to almost 800 mgbs, but on a good day do I even reach 500, and for most the time it sits at around 20 mgbs, sometimes jumping to around 120-150. Could someone give any tips on how to get consistent speeds?

    My xbox one x isn't getting the upload speed it should.

    Upload speeds are to do with your ISP they set what speeds you get so I would consider talking to your ISP again and see if they can boost your speed up again. Good luck.

    Why are my download speeds only getting up to 50mbps on an Xbox series x on a wired connection?

    Your download speeds are dictated by the speeds of the servers you are downloading from not by the theoretical maximum your line can support. If that was the maximum you managed with the One, then buying a Series X wouldn't automatically boost speeds.

    If I am downloading a game and select the reset xbox but keep my games options, will I lose the progress of the download?

    That definitely boosted download speed, it cut around an hour off the download time, thank you so much!
