That's because they're besties! Nothing can come between the brotherly bond that has formed between these two friends that share, their hopes, dreams, and gaming time together. Or it may be a coincidence...Lol.

    Peace, J.R.

  3. Take a look at our profile pages and see just how much we don't look alike. I have dark brown hair; his is lighter. He has green eyes; I have brown eyes. He has a grey background with dots; mine is stark green. He has a close-up of his face; mine is from
the waist-up. Also, we've been using these gamerpics for about 2 weeks or so now - you're just now noticing it? How do I always appear offline on Xbox One? ;)

Another way is to adjust your Privacy Settings so that only your friends or absolutely no one, can see your online status.

I usually get spammed by party and game invites txt and voice messages from several of my friends on 360. Sometimes I get annoyed especially if I've had a hard day, but if someone is giving you this amount of attention, it must mean they love you ;DD. I
still get non-friend randoms who invite me, they click on my profile, since I'm not their friend my bio/friends list appears blank for them. By the way randoms, what's the point of sending an invite when you see a person is offline? How do I always appear offline on Xbox One? :). It also helps keeps
trolls and stalkers at bay. They think you're offline so they turn to someone else. kk some of my friends go into my friends list and read aloud my and others bios. Usually it's just for jokes or if we're bored. I know at least two of my friends who make a
habbit of that, one of them even likes to play Dashboard (Xbox 360) where he spends like 15 minutes while we're all playing games or on Youtube. Some of my friends even sleep with their consoles on normally in the Youtube or Netflix app. Some of my friends
who live on the other side of the world aka US I'm NZ even stay up til like almost midnight, 2am or 4am, waiting for me to come online on weekday evenings when it's mainly just Australian and NZ members online. I experienced after been away until dinner time
on Saturday. They came online O golly isn't it like 3am. "we wanted someone to talk to". They started yapping and I just left the party playing some COD BO2 zombies. If I'm really tired I just don't really want to be in rowdy mode.

Sorry bout the detail. But this is a discussion, right? Rhetorical question no reply needed.

Off Topic - I need to change my gamer pic then.

On topic- I wish there was a option to just show busy, like the 360. At least then I would not feel bad about ignoring some messages.

@GG I've had it several times where i get multiple CoD (or equivalent) game invites from you, followed by messages - or just messages in general about some random rubbish I couldn't care less about 'x is on sale, buy it so we can play together' - how about
    no?

I removed you from friends list but yet you still send me game invites - there have been several occasions where ive been tempted to block you because of it.

On the topic at hand, i wish there was an option to just appear offline to certain people, that would be awesome

  10. I put all the sale type messages into my feed now though. That way, you can see it at your own leisure so it's not annoying. Sometimes I'll share it in a message if I really want you to see it, but that's usually pretty rare (like once every 2 months or
so). I admit, I have been sharing clips via messages more often for views, but I can easily stop doing that.

My argument about sending invites to you for games that you guys don't have is still the same as when I brought it up to the friend who blocked me - with 100+ friends, it is not practical for me to remember who has which games (in fact, it's practically
impossible) and although I can check to see who has what, if I have, for example, 30 friends online, it could take me 30+ minutes to see if every one of those friends has the game, which is too tedious and time consuming to even consider; by the time I'm done
doing that, there would be no time left to play the game itself!

This is why I send the invite to everyone that's online. If you're not online or are using a media-based app (e.g., Netflix) or watching TV, then you won't get the invite from me. That's how I do things.

I also don't base my invites on who I want to play with most of the time, because I like to leave my options open to everyone, but rather with what game I feel like playing at the time. I choose the game 1st and then send the invites. I don't choose the
friends 1st and then choose the game based on what everyone has in common - that limits my options. If you have an issue with seeing invites, you have numerous options to rectify that without having to remove me, such as showing offline or modifying your notification
preferences. However, if getting invites to play games from friends, which is a core function of any online console/service, genuinely bothers you, then maybe you shouldn't be playing online...

Personally, I think many of you make too big a deal out of this. It's a 3-second pop-up! You're really going to let that bother you!?

If you must, feel free to remove me as a friend if you really think it's necessary, but I really don't think it's necessary to do that at all (and it is definitely completely unecessary to block me, as I haven't really done anything wrong that violates the
XBL CoC). Most of the time, many of you don't take the time to play games with me anyways, so it would probably be for the best if you did anyways.

In fact, I have already removed some of you for that very reason. After all, if you're not going to mutually spend time playing games with me, what's the point of having you on my friends list just to take up space? I've played games with you guys plenty
of times, but it seems many of you never really seem to want to return the favor and play some of the games that I would like to play (granted, not having the game is pretty valid reason).

I think this is in part because many of you also already have your own small group of friends that you play with regularly - the Destiny and Forza threads are proof enough of that. Unfortunately, that's something I don't have yet, and is another reason why
I send out mass invites - I'm trying to figure out who also has an interest in playing the games that I like to play regularly. Forza and Destiny are great games, but they can only hold my interest for so long...

In fact, I have already found a few friends, but it's slow-going at best and due to time-zone differences and scheduling, it's difficult - you guys should know this from your own meet-ups.

If you ask me, there are solutions to this issue that the developers for the One could implement to easily fix this, but haven't. For example, if you go to the friends tab from the home screen, you can see a list of games that your friends have played recently.
Unfortunately, it only lists a few of your friends names before a "..." at the end. If you click on the "..." at the bottom of this list, you'd think it'd show you a more complete list of games and which friends have played it recently - that's something I
could use to know who to send invites to. However, instead it takes you to the games store page, which IMO, doesn't make any sense at all - but I'm betting MS does it for some misplaced marketing standpoint. Another alternative that could work would be to
bring back the beacons system from the Xbox 360 - that way I could see which games my friends are interested in at that time. Basically, if there was a way for me to search by game, which friends have played it, and quickly, then I won't have to send out mass
    invites.

In any case, that's why I send out those invites as well as some solutions on how to make things easier for everyone. I think it's all pretty much common sense, but I digress.

@GG - you know you dont need to spam people on destiny? you can go to the roster once you press the menu button and literally join someone's fireteam if there is space?

  13. How do I always appear offline on Xbox One?

I wasn't inviting people to Destiny, iBakez. I'm also aware of those features that it offers. CoD: Advanced Warfare and GTAV have similar features - whenever applicable, I use them.

  14. GG just because you're given the option to invite to your leisure doesn't mean you should. Some people like myself are pretty antisocial and will only play with a few close people. You've me invited me to AW while I'm on AW a few times and I won't join
because 1) the people I play will hate your guts as soon as they see your name. 2) Well you'd just get booted from the party. And also its just annoying getting the same invites from you. If I want to play with you I'll invite you but with all the spam you
cause me and others, you make no one want to play with you at all. And your Kinect mic is bloody annoying btw. Why can't you get yourself a cheap 20 dollar one? I'm still using the one that came out of the box. You don't need a fancy mic like his majesty,
Sword. Just get a crappy standard mic and stop spamming people.

  15. @GG I wasn't talking about you. But rather, just the concept of sending invites one right after the other.
