How do I add my wife to my X1?

My wife has a existing GT (silver). How do I add her my X1???

Not quite sure what you mean to say or do.

If you wish to have her play locally on same console there should be the multiplayer option. However you will need to have her create an account. However, some games will not allow more than local players to be in-game without live. Just make sure you have
the profiles signed in and reply to this. Cant really help without details or playing the game (Sorry i just cant help but think the kinect 1 is/was useless).

 

New to Kinect. How do I add my wife?

I have an Xbox 360 and I just bought a Kinect for it. I connected it and got it set up. Then I downloaded the demo for Kinect Sports as we have it on order. I have seen where they had a family of four playing the sports games. So I would like to do the
same. I would like to play the Kinect Sports games with her. My question is how do I add her? Or will it be obvious when I get and install the game next week? On the regular Xbox screens there is nowhere to add another person and create a little "person"
like mine. It that what you mean by a profile? I have my profile as "" but how would I create another one?

Also, on another note, why doesn't this forum software send me an email notification when someone replies?

Sorry Digital, let me rephrase my question....(I was on the phone when I posted this, then I couldn't access my account until now), I do have my wife on my friends list, how do I add her to share my Gold? She is a silver, wanting to play CoD AW with me.
She may as well get some GS while shes at it....

Just sign her into a console with a person who has active Gold membership and she will have access to gold.

 

You can only share gold on the home console, you can't share the membership so you both have gold on two separate consoles as far as I'm aware. Unless you let her play on the home console and you recovered your tag on the other one. I have no idea if that
even work though!

My son has his console set to my home and he has access to my gold membership he doesn't need a separate subscription, I have no idea if it works with any other setup, from what I have red you just need to have someone on the console with gold to have access
to gold.

One clear way of finding out is contacting Microsoft Live Chat through the support link at the top.

 

^Yes, but your gold subscription doesn't follow your son to any console, it will only work when he is signed onto YOUR home console.

This is what I'm trying to say, King has a sub, so if he makes his console the home console, anyone who then signs on to it will be able to use his subscription while on that console, without him being signed on (as far as I'm aware).

So theatrically his membership should follow him if he signs onto another console that isn't the home one and whoever is still using the home one, should still be able to use his membership.

Like I said, I haven't tried this so I have no idea. It wouldn't take much for King to test it out though. Someone who actually knows could put us out of our misery too by commenting! anyone? Haha.

 

When I contacted support about it, I was told as long as there is a gold membership on someones account on the console, any other person using that console will have access to that gold account.

The way we have it set up, it just so happens the other console is also set to my home, so it works that way, never tried it without but I am let to believe it will.

This will only work on xbox ones, if you want it to work on a 360 its very different.

 

King has said he has one gold subscription he wants to share, if he follows what I've said above he can do so. If you have two different home consoles under the same roof that means you have more then one gold subscriber in your house hold as I don't believe
one account can make two home consoles, (Again I might be wrong on that, but I don't think so).

king hasn't confirmed if not doing it your way failed (he hasn't said anything about two consoles either), so at present you could have made it more complicated.......but hay ho glad king got it sorted.
