How Do I Add My Son To Xbox Live Family

my son is 8 and love playing with me on Xbox One. He does not have and email because he is 8, how do I create an account for him and add him as a family on X1. He has a local profile on x360. I would like to create a local profile for him on the x1.
How do I go about doing so?

How to add a child's profile without creating a Xbox Live profile

I would like to add my son to Xbox One family so that he is recognized in games we play - like Kinect Rivals Pre-season. But I do not want to create a Xbox Live profile for him. How do I do this?

 

You will need to create a new email address for him (hotmail.com is recommended for this). You can restrict access to the email by not telling him the password.

From their you can either sign up for live on his existing gamertag on the 360 (this will change his gamertag but you should have an option to try and change it back) and then add that account to the Xbox One or just create a new gamertag for him on the
Xbox One.

Once done you would go to Settings on the console and then scroll to the right. You will see an option Add to Family so you can add him.

 

I did not understand the answer. My son has a profile and I would like to change the security settings on Xbox one so that he can play online. For some reason when I sign in to my profile, I cannot see him, neither I am able to add him to my gamer profile.
I tried to do this via PC and XBOX one, no hope. Can this really be so difficult?
