    How do I add my son to my XBox live account?


    I have set up a MS account, added my son to the family and he has confirmed, but I cannot add him to my XBOX live account. I have tried via our Xbox 360 and it tells me that the regions of my and my son's accounts don't match and I cannot for the life of
    me find a link to adding him to the account via the PC. I have found links defining a child account, letting me know why I will be charged to set up a child account but NOT how to actually set up the thing! In UK help help help!!!

    u cant add anyone to your account. on the 360, every accout requires its' own Gold account to play online. however on the One every account can share one live account. but that doesn't add an account to yours.

    How Do I Add My Son To Xbox Live Family

    You will need to create a new email address for him (hotmail.com is recommended for this). You can restrict access to the email by not telling him the password.

    From their you can either sign up for live on his existing gamertag on the 360 (this will change his gamertag but you should have an option to try and change it back) and then add that account to the Xbox One or just create a new gamertag for him on the
    Xbox One.

    Once done you would go to Settings on the console and then scroll to the right. You will see an option Add to Family so you can add him.

    I did not understand the answer. My son has a profile and I would like to change the security settings on Xbox one so that he can play online. For some reason when I sign in to my profile, I cannot see him, neither I am able to add him to my gamer profile.
    I tried to do this via PC and XBOX one, no hope. Can this really be so difficult?
