How do I access a game I payed for even though it doesn’t load the correct game.

Games on Xbox have always required a subscription to play online multiplayer, whether it's a multiplayer only or duel (single and multiple game) has never made a difference. You buy the game to get access to core functionality (effectively a license to use it) but the subscription allows you access to the online services you're using.

since there is basically no single player mode for this specific game a subscription for the online services is needed, in this case the Core subscription (formerly known as Xbox Live Gold) would be sufficient to be able to use the multiplayer part of this game

A good PC that can do 100 times more things than a console, play games better than console, easier to fix and upgrade, play many more games from old and new, yes will cost a bit more but for so much more functionality.

every console that I know need a sub to play online multiplayer. Only free2play games can be played online without a sub.

PC games on Steam etc can be played online without a sub too but a good PC costs a lot more than the consoles.

No setting have been changed. Not even game and app thumbnails load. Home screen back ground doesn’t load. I can’t even go onto my own profile.

The only thing i can do is play some games and talk to friends through game chat.
