    I've repaired, uninstalled, reset, used PowerShell commands, restarted my pc, tried installing on microsoft store, but no matter what I do I cannot update or install any xbox game through the xbox app on my pc

    It just says checking for updates and has been like this for over 2 weeks and I have tried everything I just would like to know if there is aa new fix that I haven't found yet because I would like to be able to install and update games.

    I think I really must've messed up because I tried this alongside other things like wsreset and the app package reset but still nothing works correctly and I'm debating a factory reset at this point.

    1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

    2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

    The system will ask you if you want to run CHKDSK after restarting the system, press Y on your keyboard and then type "Exit" and restart the computer, it will scan in DOS mode.
