How do digital games link to an account?

The licence is tied to your gamertag and whatever console is set as your home xbox. Other gamertags will not be able to access them. They can only do that if the other gamertags are stored on the home xbox.

When you are on
www.account.xbox.com/Mygames you will not see your 360 games so as you stated this is the large number of games that are missing. If you do not see some of your Xbox One games then it is possible you have them on your account through Game Sharing or maybe
got a hold of them during the Free to play weekends. I would advise that you take a look at your accounts

Order History to see if these games have been purchased on the account.

this is rather odd I know it don't pick up 360 games any more im guessing that's were your missing some

As many have stated any game you own digitally is yours forever. As these two games if you look on the store on the Microsoft site Forza motorsport 5 is currently unavailable. This is most likely why it disappears from your ready to install. And as others
state any 360 games don't show up. SO in short any digital game you own you own for good and will be able to reinstall if you get a different Xbox.

Its a license that is tied to your gamertag. Also remember if you let your LIVE lapse at all you’ll lose the Xbox One Games with Gold that you have aquired free.
