    how do console bans work


    hi I'm wondering how does console bans work like how do you hand them out to people like what is your requirements like do you ban the system that has that account set as home Xbox or if you do it to the system that uses that account
    the most because im worried cause me and my friends has this friends account the one that keep getting into trouble and if he gets a console ban if me and my friends will get the punishment too cause we have his account downloaded and my Xbox has his account
    set as his home Xbox and im wondering if the console bans work like whoever has the my friends account (the one who keeps getting into trouble) downloaded on my xbox and hes account is set as his home xbox on my system or which ever console uses that account
    the most out of all of them or what please let me know.

    Some Xbox One device bans are temporary and some are permanent.

    If your friend is using your account and your friend does something serious enough to get a device ban while using your account, then you could be looking at an account ban.

    If you care about your account, change your password on your account now and make sure he doesn't have access to your information to reset the password. If he don't care about account suspensions, he's not going to care if your account gets banned. Once
    your account is banned, that account is done. You lose everything Xbox related to that account.

    Letting someone else use your account could get you into trouble in itself.

    The home console feature is meant for households with more than one console,not for sharing with your friends.

    To be clear the console was not previously banned. Worked on xbox live for 3 months before it got banned. How does this work? Does any console that a banned user has had as a 'home xbox' get banned or whats the deal? So essentially is every used xbox in
    jeopardy of getting banned based on the actions of the previous owner that are still some how associated to the console?

    The same rules apply on other consoles too, Switching to another one won't change how things work. If you don't follow the Xbox code of conduct you can get a ban. If you've already had a ban then you know how it works. All you can do is open a case review
    or wait it out. I would also be more cautious moving forward, Too many bans can result in a console ban. That is something no one wants.

    Unfortunately once a console is banned, it is not possible to have it unbanned.

    Is it ban for life? How it worked? And how to find reason of blocking?
