    How do a stop lag?


    I know sounds like a dumb question it kind of is but I have a reason sadly this is because It's only one game that is affected and it doesn't matter what I do to fix it I don't want to delete the game and all of it's saved data and I don't think that will guarantee anything.

    Ok so I like many other people have Minecraft on my series X and and right from the start. I mean opening the game the loading screen, the menu, In game play both online and offline does this occasional shuttering thing every 1 to 5 minutes where the game stops and loads sometimes with a little bit of rubber banding.

    I have tried common solutions to fix it.

    - Restarting console

    - Unplugging console/reset cache

    - Uninstalling/Reinstalling games

    - Disconnecting/Reconnecting internet.

    I understand minecraft is a graphics intensive game but this is a Xbox series X I saw it would be able to handle the games home screen. I don't know what to do now.

    Sorry about that. Is this the only game that is having this issue? You can also try clearing your MAC address. Kindly go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to launch the game again.

    That would be an interesting idea however the start menu Would not be affected by that. Or at least I don't think it would be.

    The game is loading in what other players have done, new section of the world, that sort of thing and syncing all the assets between players. That's almost certainly what you're seeing. It doesn't matter how powerful your hardware is, data needs to be exchanged, And it's likely the systems and connections of other people in the world aren't fast as yours

    Yes It is affecting only Minecraft as far as I can tell tell.

    I just tried clearing the MAC And it has actually made a huge difference some of the shuttering is still happening It's miniscule at best however it's a lot better and There is now no lag in the menu screen and the game loads up Significantly faster. I just thought the game was supposed to take a while to load. There is still a tiny hiccup I'm just happy It's nowhere near us often and annoying.

    Thank you this has made a big difference what is this MAC address and why did clearing it make such a difference?

    (Also I wonder what other Games and apps are working better now but that's a question for me to find out. Maybe Crunchyroll is a lot more reliable now. I have no idea how many problems my xbox might have thanks to whatever that was. Minecraft has always had this problem since I installed it on this xbox Series X.)
