How do a get past the family(parental) pass code?

I recently received a used xbox 360 (2015?) from my sister who got it from a coworker. It works well, but it still has a family pass code on it, how do I reset it or turn it off when I don't know the code

Force passcode for purchases on all user accounts

There is no pass code for purchases. However if your son has a child account you can use the Family Settings/Parental Settings to restrict what he is able to do while on XBL.

Hey Aidan, Assuming the family code is on the Xbox 360 we do have a
Parental Controls troubleshooter.

For forgotten pass codes for the Xbox 360, it can be reset by answering the pass code question created when the console and parental controls were first set up. In short, No, we do require a Microsoft account so we can register the console to it.

In order to prevent smart kids from finding a default reset code, and disabling the Family Passcode without their parent's knowing, each console has an unique reset code, that only the official support can generate from the console serial number.

You'll have to contact the official Xbox support via
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and give them the console's serial number.

They'll then walk you through the reset process.
