My xbox has been awful since update instant on just wont work has put me off playing recently

Not sure Knais. I will admit to having some issues like controller not wanting so sync, connect, or turn on console. I have had some party issues. And issues with some apps. And just recently I have had issues with the external hard drive feature where
the game I am current trying to move will only move a small percentage and then stop. During this time the controller stops working except the guide button which will bring of the shutdown menu and remove the shutdown menu. No buttons working or sticks working.
On both my consoles with different external USB 3.0 drives. So I understand your frustrations.

Issue is you will have to be concise and on point. If you have any possible issue with how your post reads you are going to get a lot of negative feedback and you are not going to want to post. You cannot say you have had problems with it since the day
you purchased and then say the last 3 days. I understand you are not being completely literal and you many not have had problems every day since you purchased but regularly but I can bet that somewhere in the responses below someone picked this and ran. So
do not say stuff like this and be on point. If you have an issue write it down. Have a straight forward, no fluff post. With all the trolling, attacking, defending of things, that go on with the internet you are not going to make any progress like this.

Now, I hope you can get this resolved. I would look at the online support. Some good tips and trouble shooting things there. After that I would call support. Sounds like your box is working but some apps and such have issues. Some of these issues will
be worked out (I will admit that some of them should have been caught) sooner than others. But it really could be an error on your part that you are just missing. Something simple but overlooked.

Day one Xbox still going along strong and it's been set to Instant on for all that time. No problem here.

As a launch 360 owner I find it amusing when people complain about the Xbox One.

As an actual XBox ONE owner with a launch console I can happily confirm that ElectroFlying doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

He also raises the somewhat contentious but painfully obvious point that some of the people trying to offer you advice here could not even be trusted to look after your goat.

Not an X1 owner, but If I may.

I dont know if the date of manufacture label is on or even visable through the box of a New console or not But if so, I would not purchase any X1 built before December 2014.

In this way it maybe possible to avoid a lot of headaches. Thus leaving those old RUSHED to market manufactured consoles on the shelves, and in so doing may actually obtain a quality console that passed rigerious Quality Control testing before reaching store
shelves. Remember, when they have big pushes for sales. Its 1st in 1st out... So observe the date of manufacture, and ask for better build dates. If they dont have any... simply visit another store.

Better 2B demanding B4 you buy rather than spend 350 plus bucks on what may be/become a lemon.
