How Did The Xbox One Pass Quality Testing?

As another poster suggested above. Try using energy saving mode. Sure, you'll have to wait a bit longer for it to start up, and "Xbox on" won't work, but the hassles it will save you far outweigh that.

That, and make sure when you exit an app, to click the menu button, then choose "quit" to fully close the app.

I've tried instant on a couple times and the machine just doesn't work well with it. A lot of this will probably change when they roll out Windows 10 for the X1 later on.

I find this hard to believe. You do have 441 people showing as friends yes. That just means you follow 441. Now you only have 206 followers so that means that 235 of them do not follow you back. So they must not consider you as friends. I am saying this
only because I could follow 1,000 people but that does not make them friends. The fact you say you play with nearly everyone of a fairly regular basis is also had to believe only because you have a GS of 2290.

 

I have my console set to energy saving mode, mainly because instant on sometimes gave me issues staring games and apps.

Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, when you finish with a game or app, make sure you press the start button and select 'quit' from the pop up menu when you return to the home screen. If you don't, you will notice slow downs/glitches and generally an unsatisfactory
experience.

This, I think is the cause of a lot of peoples problems with the Xbox One. It's the same when you snap an app. That app will continue to run after you finished with it and unsnapped it.

 

so 500 friends you play with most of them you cant have much of a life outside then 8 in a party at a time. overheating i dont think iv ever heard of a xbox one overheating. iv got a day 1 console and iv had no problems with it what so ever

 

wel for a xbox console that seems riddled with faults you managed to complete Diablo 3 100percent plus have fun on Titanfall cant be all that bad

 

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I do not know how your console is overheating. Are you wrapping it up in a blanket and sitting it on top of a heater? I go to the ambassador website and help people with issues almost everyday and the one thing I haven't seen
yet are complaints of overheating.

OP, are you sure it's just not party chat you are having issues with and you decided to go all dramatic and say all your 500 friends have the same problems as you? I don't know anyone with those issues you've mentioned except for party chat. I'm thinking
this was just a hissy-fit.

 

As a launch 360 owner I find it amusing when people complain about the Xbox One.

^^People would probably take your opinion serious if it wasn't so silly. Software issues have nothing to do with a manufactured date, but you're to simple to realize that.

No, I did not. But now that YOU directely mentained it.

Why is it that a, no THE leading sofware manufacture is having so much software issues. Not only with its systems but also, if memory serves from following these threads. The games/apps produced for its system?

Quality Quality Control would no doubt cover both hardware and software yes?

 

Day one Xbox still going along strong and it's been set to Instant on for all that time. No problem here.

 

Anybody else notice how the OP just kind of disappeared?

Not surprised with how 'helpful' some people are.
