How did everyone get their devices?

I had a Series S at first which was pre-ordered direct from the UK MS Store last year on the day you could pre-order consoles..

I obtained a Series X about three months ago. Getting one wasn't easy, I got mine from the UK Microsoft Store again via a stock checking website.

I'm also a PC gamer and I've been trying to get hold of an RTX 3070 or 3070ti but I'm not prepared to pay the inflated prices they're currently going for. It's the global chip shortage that's causing low production volumes. It's not going to get better until mid 2022 at the earliest

Grrr...you mentioning the 3070Ti has set off my rage again!!! Had just about calmed down with my anger over NVIDIA for being so stupid and releasing them given the absolute shambles they have presided over since September..a responsible company (which I thought nVIDIA was..at least to some degree) would have delayed the release rather than putting consumer satisfaction at a zero percent concern level.

I'm off to cool down again!!!

I got my Series X at the start of June via All Access..it was the first time I'd seen the Series X in stock somewhere since they released. Then again, I hadn't been trying very hard as my One X was still quite new

The 3080ti was designed for gaming not mining. It's the mining that's nuetered.

I pre-ordered the Xbox Series X the very second the pre-orders went live and got mine on launch day, I did the same with the Playstation 5 but was unlucky to not get one and I'm still waiting for anywhere to have them in stock to get one, I'm willing to wait on store restocks than to fund the scalpers that are still selling them on Ebay.

I was also unlucky not to get an RTX 3080Ti when it launched, but finally got one a couple of days ago which pairs well with my LG 27GP950 4K 144hz monitor.
