How desperate has Microsoft become to sell it's games?

When I am playing Microsoft Jigsaw my chrome pops up with an ad. It's bad enough to be playing a game that is sold by Microsoft without it popping up ads in my browser. Never mind the ads popping up in the game. But increasingly I am trying to play jigsaw
and chrome pops up with another ad. It busts my concentration so badly I usually wind up closing Jigsaw and playing some other game. Some of the sites that I am directed to are to infected sites. (Don't worry, My AV handled those quite well).

I believe that there must have been a change in management of the advertising sales staff because as far as I can see, Microsoft does not screen the advertisements that it displays in it's games, their support personnel does not try to assist the users that
are having problems (this is based on the thousands of issues posted).

It has become quite clear to me that there is only one of two possible solutions (well, three...the last one IS an option, but highly unrealistic for most small fry like myself).

1) Buy the game.

2) Uninstall the game.

3) file a lawsuit against Microsoft.

Since I don't like being forced or coerced into buying stuff I don't really want to, I am choosing option #2.

PS - I am not monitoring this post. I just had to vent before I uninstalled the game.

It's just a game. Most free games and services have ads to allow the games to be free.

Most of the time there is an option to purchase an ad free version. If you choose the free option you have no grounds for complaints and lawsuits on something so petty would be ridiculous.

Lioe android or whatever game companyyou use yiu do know that an ad would never pop up in your browser right? Only if it shows up ingame and you click on purchase are you sure you arent receiving an ad from a webpage you visited ? Its easy look at the hyper
link then goto chrome and reset permissions from that webpage when you visits some sites they ask if they can deliver notifications aka ads

Games dont deliver ads except from aingame window and you arent taken to the web unless you follow the link

However your cookies can deliver ads which is why adblockers exist

This is a common practice for free versions of games as it is the only way for the developer to generate profits. The alternative is paying for an Ad Free version of the game if it is available.
