how copy xbox external hdd data to larger hdd

No as the xbox keeps files hidden to prevent modification

You can copy a media drive but not a game drive

Not even cloners let alone windows disk tools can copy it

Every console including sony don't allow for copying

Many thanks for the info. I wonder why Microsoft xbox support suggested that the external xbox hdd would copy using Windows 10?

Xbox files are not meant to be seen by a PC so you wouldn't be able to copy them on a PC.

You should be able to plug both into the console and in Settings you can manage your storage devices and move/copy files to the larger drive.

I found this elsewhere which should hopefully help (I assume it's accurate):

"Assuming you have files on one external drive and now want to copy them to a 2nd external drive.

1. Format the new drive using the Xbox. Format it for games, not media
   
2. Go to Settings -> System -> Storage then select your full drive and pick Transfer from the pop-up menu
   
3. Pick your existing external to transfer from
   
4. Oddly at the top of the screen it will say Transfer To Internal and you can’t change that but don’t worry
   
5. Select the items you want to move (or just pick Select All) and them Move Selected. At this point you’ll be able to choose your new external drive as a destination."
