How come when I linked my Microsoft account to my ps4 my ps4 worlds and skins disappeard?

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some problems in Minecraft when you linked your Microsoft account to your ps4.

For the world you created before, you can follow these steps to try to transfer the world.

To transfer existing worlds from Minecraft: PS4 Edition to Minecraft:

1. In Minecraft (Bedrock Version), select the Sync Old Worlds button at the bottom of the worlds list in the Play menu. This finds any worlds on the device from the Minecraft: PS4 Edition and displays them below the button.
   
2. Select any of the worlds that are displayed to convert it to the Bedrock edition.
   
3. After conversion, the world will show up above the Sync Old Worlds button, along with the rest of your Bedrock worlds.
   

(Note that worlds that were created on PS3 can no longer be transferred to PS4.)

For the skin you can try to follow these steps and try to sync them.

Characters that were edited and accessorized by using the Dressing Room will sync with your account when you launch Minecraft on another device. For more info about uploading custom skins into your game, see:

Note Some purchased content may not be available on all device

so i tried signing in to my xbox account on mc ps4 and it didnt work so i sign in to my other account i went to play my mc bedrock on xbox but my skins and minecoins are gone i made sure if i was using my account my templates were locked i went
on ps4 bedrock all my skins and stuff were there idk how they transerered over to my ps4 and it was a microsoft account but same email for xbox and ps4 account is there a way to transfer my skins and stuff back to my xbox account i have not bought anything

Same issue here. I need to "link" my PS4 account to my Microsoft account but when I try to do it, I get an error that it is already linked. I only have one PS4 account and only one Microsoft account.

This is to unlink an account that has already been linked to a PS4. The issue i'm having is I can't link my Microsoft account in the first place to PS4 as it says my Microsoft account is already linked to a different PS4, however I can't seem to find anyway
to find out which PS4 account it is linked to, so I can delete that link.

What’s the point in linking a Microsoft account to a PS4 account when you can’t use the coins purchased?

Not your fault - but it should me made clearer on the T&C’s when purchasing the bundle of coins that they don’t work on PS4.

Can these be used on a switch? But given I’ve already linked my Microsoft account to my PS4, am I able to unlink it and link it to the switch instead?

That was a waste of my kids £8.49. They’ll never get used.
