How come steam isn't in my Xbox PC app library?

I purchased the game on Steam, and when i launch the desktop icon its opens steam, I cant even find the game in my xbox app library, how do i launch it in there

I am looking for clarification on how exactly the xbox wireless display app works. Can it connect to my pc/mac and play my steam library through the console? Or does it just mirror it. From the dicussion ive seen it looks like it just mirrors the pc and
doesnt actually use the console itself to play the games. Im trying to figure out if I can run my steam library on the xbox series s.

Once you've installed UWPHook, adding UWP games to your Steam library is a snap.

Open the UWPHook app.

Click the refresh button on the top-right of the window to get a list of all current UWP apps installed on your computer.

Scroll through the list to find any Microsoft Store/PC Game Pass games you have installed, and click the checkbox next to the ones you'd like to add to Steam.

When you've selected your games, click the "Export selected apps to Steam" button on the bottom right.

After a moment, a notification will pop up informing you that the games have been added successfully.

Restart the Steam client.

When you open Steam, the games should appear in your library.

Once a game has been added to your Steam library, you can launch it from Steam the same way as regular Steam apps. Even if the game was downloaded via a PC Game Pass subscription, you likely won't need the Xbox app running while you play it (though some may require it).

Play anywhere is a xbox console and a xbox for PC feature NOT steam

Stema has their own thing

And as sword mentiioned it can be connected to ms store since you paid steam.not xbox

They can't send you steam codes you aren't getting it

Play anywhere isn't a different code

It's Linked games to your MS account on the xbox network NOT steam

If you look at steam games therr isn't a play anywhere program

You can however use it on steam deck since its a steam game or steam box if you have one.

Play anywhere.has always been .an xbox console.and pc exclusive no other platform.has it not Nintendo or sony

steam kinda does for their games with family access but.is limited to steam platform like steam.deck or steam box or steam pc app
