    How come I need to Send in my Controller First?


    I have just got off the telephone with xbox support and they told me Microsoft Policy is to send back the item first before you receive the new one. However i did not have to send back my microphone (maybe because it's smaller) Yet the controller they want
    me too. I payed 500 for this console and I expect it to all work right. My controller cannot take a microphone plug in it without turning off. So for the last 3-4 weeks all chat comes through my tv and same with my yelling at my tv. Now they think its the
    controller and want me to send that in. So I have payed 500 dollars to have a faulty controller and they want me to send it in wich means i have to look at my console for the next 2-3 weeks or go out and buy a new one. ( great marketing strategy). I told them
    they can put a hold on my account and take my credit card info and bill me if it isn't sent back. But no can do, even though it be easier on me to receive the controller then use the same box and bubble-wrap included with a return adrress and I'll go pay the
    shipping. Thats wouldn't be a big deal and I'd be able to play instead of waiting weeks...

    Hi Weezniz: I feel your frustrations but if you check on just about any company's return policy (for warranty etc) they all require the product to be sent back first. I know its a pain but to be honest, it makes good business sense. I know a second controller
    is not cheap but I have always tried to have a spare in case of something like this.

    Fear not Weez, you will get through it and be back gaming before you know it!! Hang in there

How come I need to Send in my Controller First? :( I can't have it replaced without sending it in first either, and at the moment I can't justify buying a second controller. Thankfully, it still works, its just annoying. SwampDawgg
    is right though, that is the usual process. They tend to do it for higher ticket items, like the console itself (at least in the case of the 360.) - It would be nice if we saw an advanced exchange program on the accessories as well, maybe requiring a hold
    on a credit card to alleviate the worry that they wouldn't receive the original controller back. Maybe shoot them a tweet with any suggestion you have, I've seen quick responses from them on Twitter. @XboxSupport (twitter.com/xboxsupport)

    Maybe if we all send the suggestion, they'll do something with it.

    Controller making strange noises when it vibrates

    So, as some of us know, the vibrate function on the Xbox One cannot be controlled. Of course that needs to be added. But, ontop of that issue, my controllers' vibration function is insane. It is extremely loud(whirring, buzzing, beeping) and invasive. This
    is a hardware issue that needs to be fixed.

    I called Xbox to complain and all they could offer me is a shipping label to send my controller to them. So I rushed out and found an Xbox in my town (difficult) just to send away the one controller it comes with? Come on...

    I found a YouTube video with the exact same noises as mine, but I can no longer find it. Has anyone found a fix for this?

    Send only the controller. No accessories, removable parts, original box, etc. Anything you send with it is not guaranteed to come back.
