How can you make game videos play full screen on new Xbox dashboard (2020 UI)?

I have performed this myself and it might help you with the new dashboard UI:

The new dashboard is rolling out to all Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles in phases. If you don't have it yet, you can check to see if it's available for your console with a few simple steps.

Here is how to get new Xbox dashboard:

1. Go to your Xbox's Home screen
2. Select the "Settings" icon
3. Select "System"
4. Select "Updates & downloads"
If the new dashboard is available for your console, you'll see a message saying "New dashboard available"
4. Select "Download and install"
Once the new dashboard is installed, you'll be prompted to restart your console. After your console restarts, you'll be using the new Xbox dashboard.

Come November we'll be getting the new ui/dashboard so check out some videos of what it will look like since so far the Ui is annoying in many ways, so many steps to doing simple tasks.

Xbox One director of product planning Albert Penello has conceded that Microsoft's recent Xbox One dashboard video walkthrough won't exactly match what you'll experience at release day, but has described it as "an EXCELLENT representation of the dash,
the features, and the speed".

- The way the voice text gets created on-screen doesn't work that way. It will appear as one block.

- The video assumes that the user ALREADY has a movie started (hence why Pacific Rim is in the middle of the film), and ALREADY has a game started. In that cause, the UI will switch that fast.

- The "Activity Feed" does not go over the UI like that, it snaps to the side.

- When the player resumes Titanfall, obviously he would have to "unpause" the game or however the individual game deals with coming back up. But you can absolutely have a game paused, and use your voice to launch new apps exactly how the video does.

- The only egregious feature error is when the VO says "Xbox Share" or something similar. Now, the user would actually have to accept the notification or go to upload studio and share from there. We don't share directly with voice.

- Besides those small nuances, the transitions, speed, movement and everything else is a pretty accurate. I think it's a fine representation of the experience.

It's all really about optimizing the speed of the dashboard UI, as well as introduce new concept ("Blocks") to organize your game/app shortcuts. Dashboard updates are also mainly based on
consumer feedback. You can submit your ideas to improve the Xbox dashboard if you wish.

Not everybody will be happy with a dashboard UI change, but there's honestly no turning back if you want to continue playing online. Best thing to do at this point is give the UI overhaul a chance.

As far as the bandwidth problem goes, you could try a few things:

• If your router has a QoS (Quality of Service) option, use it to control the amount of bandwidth the Xbox One consumes. Be sure to set up a static IP on your Xbox to ensure bandwidth is controlled on that address you specify for QoS.
• Uninstall games you don't play so they don't automatically update in the background. You can always re-download or reinstall with a disc.
• If possible in your area, consider an internet service plan that doesn't enforce a data cap. Xbox One data usage can be quite unpredictable and high, depending on how you use the console.

From the videos amd screenshots that I have seen it does seem like snap mode is still a feature. But there is still little information on the new Xbox One UI. I
