It's too easy to brush off people SICK TO DEATH of trolls, griefers, spammers, inactive players, abusers and the like, by saying just IGNORE them, BUT, that can't always be done without leaving matches (even if you're lobby host), leaving the game or, eventually,
leave the platform and/or VIDEO GAMES IN GENERAL.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, for all the reports I've filed for anything, other than communication, there has been NO ACTION. It has been annoying the [mod removed] out of me that toxic players invoke anger and I'M the one who is turned away from playing.

If players are supposed to IGNORE toxic players then why even HAVE a reporting system???

I was taught to STAND UP to bullies, NOT back down, run away, feign ignorance or hide from them. Is this wrong? Has the world gone so pear-shaped that NOW the bullies have ALL the privilege???

AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH A BACKBONE??????

    :)

You can also File a complaint against somebody by going to their gamer profile, and going down to file a complaint. Don't worry about it! Xbox looks into EVERY claim within 24 hours!

Also ignore people who grief, they are just people who are here to ruin the experience! Just ignore them and eventually, they will stop!

    Happy gaming!

    bo2 cheating

    Hi there,

Your best course of action in a case like this is to block and report these players. With all of us working together we can make sure players who cheat dont ruin the game for the rest of us!

Seems you need to refresh your knowledge on the Code of Conduct which you have accepted once registered for xbox live service.

If someone harasses you in xbox live, as a gamer all you can do report or block them from further abuse. After that move on and keep playing as normally!

  5. Unfortunately, "playing as normally" is being frustrated with having to deal with the lack of teamwork and sportsmanship in multiplayer and WAITING for more exceptional single player games, aimed at an adult, sci-fi loving, intelligent audience (like a
certain cyberpunk game that's going to be a breath of relief when it's finally finished), reporting players on almost a daily basis these days and questioning why I subject myself to this aggrevating environment when I could just get so drunk that 'ignoring'
them might be possible (after I pass out...).

  6. I did.

"Ignorance is bliss", is not a solution. It's the problem.

First, you should calm down. I would just mute the voice and go to settings to disable DMs.

In short, if you have an issue with players and they are breaking their xbox Code of Conduct, or Terms of Use, report them. Taunting someone back, replying in kind, etc all break those rules and put you in a position of having enforcement action taken against
you. There is no recommendation to take justice into your own hands and do anything more than report players. No one is saying don't play online, or hide from them. But you also should refrain from engaging in similar behavior even if you think it is justified
    because "they did it first"

  9. Are going to keep bringing up my total JUSTIFIED com ban on a post that DOESNT mention it?

Maybe, MAYBE, this is the bullying aspect that I'm sick of.

MY post is concerning the advice to ignore bad experiences, when that attitude can easily be taken to the extent of NOT reporting players at all, which I found getting information on process for punishment and other information from the XBLPET is only possible
by direct communication via a 'case review' (which is the last thing I'm after) because it's a seperate department, hence the "Support can't help in these matters... etc." when you REMIND us of everytime we log in.

Let me make this clear, I DO NOT dispute that I WAS WRONG.

Ok, but if your general question is how do you ignore people after you have reported them? Usually I just block them, or just tune them out mentally. I'm not a fan of changing my behavior if someone else is being toxic, but by and large if there is that
many people playing a particular game then usually I can just match into another lobby without them.

However if you are seeming to play a current game that may be inundated with trolls and the likes, maybe switching to single player is a path you may want to consider. Ever play Red Dead Redemption, that was a great story line... I hear a sequel is coming
    out...

  11. Its as simple as don't break the Code of Conduct! If they violate the Code of Conduct, that doesn't mean you can. If you do, you will get a suspension, so don't!

WHEN did I question that???? Are you even reading what Ive posted HERE????? STOP BRINGING UP THE BAN, TROLL.

Can someone tell me if I can report this? (SERIOUS)

  13. No one is suggesting you ignore it. They are suggesting you report and block the person doing it. As members of xbox live the only option we have against toxic players or "trolls" is to report their behaviour and block the player. You could even go so
far as to submit a player review against them on 360 and you should not be matched up against that person again. When players receive enough negative player feedback that can effect their reputation and in turn effect the Multiplayer matchmaking pool they
    have access to

  14. Yes I played RDR, but it was lacking something I wouldve preferred more... SCI FI (pretty sure I mentioned this).

WELL DONE for ALSO ignoring what Ive posted.

Youve given me MY OWN ADVICE.

WHEN decent single player SCI FI titles come out Im there because of my HATRED for MP environments, but where are they? Where?????

Devs are focusing on MP even when making SP, in case you havent noticed...

As for RDR2, I have VERY little interest in the hollywood romatisied view of "the wild west" thanks to Adam Conover's History Reanimated, and I know Rockstar wont resist recreating the west from movies rather than use it as a teaching platform for the truth.

....And it really isnt sci fi.

Can I mention sci fi again so you STOP making inappropriate game suggestions???
